Mark Smith

Mark is an expert in change management.  He is skilled at being on Boards dealing with issues such as leadership, strategy, organization, culture, engaging top teams and colleagues, and diversity. He has been named by the Globe and Mail as the “Dean of Canada’s change leaders”. During his career he has served as CEO of Hay Management Consultants Canada, the Founder and CEO of Johnston Smith International, Canada’s largest firm specializing in change management, as well as 11 years as a partner at KPMG. He is an accomplished board member having held roles on three boards including WSIB of which he was Chair of the Investment Committee. He was an Instructor at York University on Accountability and Governance as well as a Senior Fellow of both Massey College/University of Toronto and the CD Howe Institute.
